After collecting the early weapons and treasure rewards, the next step in The Blood of Dawnwalker prologue is completing additional missions to gain more equipment, experience, and prepare for the remaining timer.

More Prologue Rewards: Complete Gavil’s Lazar Mission
After returning to the main town, use the nearby fast travel point and head toward the field where Gavil is located.
Speak with Gavil and he will ask you to find his missing brother Lazar, who is somewhere deeper in the woods.
Follow the main route northwest from Gavil’s location. Avoid unnecessary exploration and focus on reaching the cave area where Lazar can be found.
Collect The Torch Before Entering The Cave
Before entering deeper into the cave, make sure you collect the torch near the entrance.
The torch is extremely useful because many exploration areas are dark. You can place it in your quick slot and use it whenever visibility becomes a problem.
Explore The Temple And Loot Hidden Containers
Continue deeper into the temple with Lazar and collect everything that is not fixed to the ground.
Collapsed containers are especially valuable because they often contain items that can be sold later for additional Dinarius.
Eventually, you will reach a larger room containing a sarcophagus and wall markings.
Interact with the markings until the sarcophagus becomes available.
Get The Meerle Leaf Bracers Reward
Opening the sarcophagus rewards you with a rare equipment set, including the Meerle Leaf Bracers.
These bracers are especially useful because they include a claw ability, making them one of the better early defensive upgrades.
Defeat The Guardian Mini Boss
Before leaving the area, you will encounter a Guardian mini boss.
The fight is not particularly difficult, but remember to loot the Guardian after defeating it.
The reward may not replace your current weapon, but it can still provide useful items to sell or keep.
Tips Before You Finish The Prologue
After completing these missions, you will have limited prologue hours remaining.
Because several missions consume time, carefully choose which objectives you complete before the prologue ends.
Open The Anka Romance Option
If you want to unlock the romance option with Anka later, complete her mission before spending your remaining hours.
- Give her the full 50 Dinarius payment.
- Select the option to spend time with her during the storm.
These choices consume two in-game hours, so make sure you have enough time remaining before starting the event.
Save The Final Prologue Hour
After completing Anka’s mission, keep your remaining time carefully.
- One hour for another optional mission.
- One hour required to return medicine to your mother’s house.
Avoid optional activities that consume extra time, such as the hide-and-seek activity during the sibling mission.
Complete The Prologue Preparation
Once you finish the remaining objectives and follow Anka’s instructions, the prologue preparation is complete.
At this stage, Coen should have:
- Improved weapons.
- Additional armor pieces.
- Extra XP rewards.
- Important relationship progress.
