How To Find Oa
Oa is the first trainer covered in this route. Before she becomes available as a permanent source of skill manuals, you need to complete a short mission for her.
Start by visiting the tavern in the northwestern part of Zvartra. Her quest should appear at this location.
Meet Oa there and complete the short mission associated with her in the city.
After finishing this first step, Oa leaves the tavern and moves to another location outside the city.
Find Oa At The River Camp
After completing Oa’s initial mission, travel to the outskirts of Zvartra near the nearby river.
Visit Oa again at this location and complete the crayfish-related interaction.
The dialogue choices shown in the gameplay route are important if you want her to remain at the camp:
- Do you miss home?
- New things can be exciting. Sure.
- Our neighbors helped a bit.
Using this sequence kept Oa at the camp in the demonstrated playthrough. Once she remains there, speak with her again to access her training inventory.
Which Skill Manuals Does Oa Sell?
Oa becomes one of the most useful trainers for this build because her inventory contains several important manuals.
The manuals shown or mentioned in Oa’s inventory include:
- Walking Fortress
- Swiftness
- Adrenaline Rush
- Artery Strike
These are especially useful for the One Shot Build because Artery Strike is its main finishing ability, while Walking Fortress and Adrenaline Rush support activation charge recovery.
Find Another Artery Strike Manual Southwest Of Zvartra
Oa is not the only source of Artery Strike manuals. Another one can be found in an enemy soldier camp farther southwest of the city.
Travel to the soldier camp, defeat the enemies, and search the chest inside the camp.
The chest shown in the gameplay contains another Artery Strike Manual, giving you an additional way to improve the ability without relying entirely on trainer purchases.
The video also notes that other Artery Strike manuals may appear at additional enemy camps around the valley, but this southwest camp is the specific fixed example demonstrated in the route.
How To Find And Save Baler
The second trainer is Baler. Before you can use him as a vendor, you first need to rescue him from a pillory during one of Vakir’s activities farther south.
At the location shown in the route, defeat the two soldiers guarding him.
When the dialogue choice appears, select:
“I’m not letting anyone hurt this man.”
Saving Baler causes him to relocate to a nearby forest farther west.
Challenge Baler To A Duel
After Baler relocates to the forest, travel to his new activity location and speak with him.
Challenge Baler to a duel. After completing this interaction, he opens his inventory and becomes another source of training manuals.
The gameplay confirms that Baler sells additional Artery Strike Manuals.
The narrator also believes Baler may sell Walking Fortress, but explicitly says he is not certain whether it had already been purchased or disappeared because the skill was maxed. For that reason, Artery Strike is the confirmed manual from Baler in this route, while Walking Fortress should not be treated as guaranteed.
Adrenaline Rush Manual Chest Location
There is also another possible source of Adrenaline Rush outside the trainer inventories.
Travel just south of the exit toward Var and look on the left side of the road.
In the demonstrated playthrough, the chest at this location contained an Adrenaline Rush manual.
However, the original gameplay commentary specifically mentions receiving conflicting reports about this chest. Because of that, treat this as the result from the demonstrated playthrough rather than a guaranteed universal drop.
Best Order For Unlocking These Skill Manuals
If you are building the One Shot setup from the same gameplay route, a practical order is:
- Complete Oa’s initial quest at the northwestern Zvartra tavern.
- Visit Oa again near the river.
- Use the dialogue choices that keep her at camp.
- Purchase the manuals you need from Oa.
- Collect the additional Artery Strike manual from the southwest soldier camp.
- Rescue Baler from the pillory.
- Find him again in the forest and complete the duel.
- Purchase additional Artery Strike manuals from Baler.
- Check the chest south of the Var exit for Adrenaline Rush.
This route gives you several opportunities to improve the core skills used by the build without depending on only one trainer.

Among the manuals shown here, Artery Strike is the most important because it provides the build’s main finishing attack.
Walking Fortress and Adrenaline Rush are also valuable because they support activation charge restoration, while Swiftness improves attack speed.
